Автор | seduction time |
in this battle succubi go at 8 s and wardens(239) at 9 s, time of seduction is 0.11 so seduction should end after 9 s i.e at the start of 10s, so why were they gone before time?

You do not use a translit though
In short — ATB does not work like this — ticks and timed effects do not correlate as you think they do. Ticks are like checkpoints. Depending on your speed (aka ini in that case) you may pass checkpoints in 1 sec, or 2 sec, or whatever. 0.11 duration does not mean that it will last a tick |
В погрешность вроде вкладывается.
У succubi инициатива 12, а у wardens 10.9. Seduction всего примерно 0.1 хода. Видно, на стартовой линейке инициативы succubi убежали немного вперёд. |
Transliteration for asking questions in Russian, but with English letters
For example – Privet, kak dela? (Hi, how are you?)
About your question: ATB-line not like time line with numbers, and 0.11 time of seduction not = picture-turns of troops |

The reason for asking here is most people don't know how ATB works at .com, so I ask questions here the one that .com people can't answer. |

0.11 duration does not mean that it will last a tick
0.1 duration turn is 1 second, what else does it mean? |

0.1 of the duration means there are 10 meters left on the scale until the effect ends.
Each tick, a creature moves a number of meters equal to its initiative.
For example, if ini = 12, then:
1 tick = 12 meters
2 ticks = 24 meters
and so on.
If a spell is cast on such a creature and the spell lasts for 10 meters, the creature won't even notice it, because ticks can only be whole numbers: there is no tick 2.5. |
How can a spell be dependent on creature initiative and not time If a spell is cast on such a creature and the spell lasts for 10 meters, can you show how the seduction ended before it got it's turn using ticks? |
there are some exceptions, but generally buffs and debuffs' duration is counted as if there existed a creature with ini 10 - 1 turn duration of seduction means exactly one turn of that imaginary creature. if the real one has more ini - it has a chance to get a turn twice or thrice even, and the other way around - zombie-like creature may not get even one turn
can you show sure
starting bonus: warden 9; succ 8
9/8
19.9/20
...
96.2/104 - it succ's turn, the seduction is casted for 0,10 turn - so it will be active for 10 meters
107.1/16 - seduction ended just before wardens turn at 106.2m, so when its his time - he is no longer seducted |
the real question is - why was seduction casted for 0.1, when it shouldve been 0.11, according to the calculator |
Ok ,thank you. |
